Twin Falls County Tire Amnesty Day
Old tires are a prime habitat for mosquitoes. As water gets trapped inside the inner edges of the tire, it provides the ultimate location for mosquitoes to lay their eggs, hatch out, and their larvae to develop. To help reduce this habitat and help prevent the spread of West Nile Virus, Twin Falls County partners with the Twin Falls County Pest Abatement District each year to provide citizens an easy way to dispose of unwanted tires.
As you’re spring cleaning this year, bring your passenger tires to the Twin Falls Transfer Station (2186 Orchard Drive East , Twin Falls, Idaho 83301) on May 2nd to be disposed of for FREE!
*Limit 4 regular passenger tires per person. Offered only on May 2nd, 2026.
